The first one is my self portrait and I did myself sleeping because lately I have been sleeping a lot. I kind of like to think that I was dreaming of home in this picture which is portrayed in the Buffalo poster. The next one is a portrait of a stranger. I chose her because I really like her facial piercings and sense of style (like her David Bowie poster in the background). The last one is of my close friend Jessica, and she was very excited to take this picture because she just dyed her hair. Brunette is the new blonde!
I am a fan of all three of these. They are all very crisp and each has its own feeling to it. The middle one has a definite feeling of sleepiness with the warm colors.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one a lot. Im not sure how you did it but the darkness around the edges brings the focus into the center, and gives it a sleepy feeling to it. Which is perfect since it is of someone sleeping. I also really like the crispness and how the photo jumps out at me when i look at it. I really like the warmth that the photo proclaims also.
