Final Project

Alice in Wonderland

For my final project I decided to take an Alice in Wonderland approach and portray things as they may not seem. You just have to open your eyes to the possibilities.

"Be what you would seem to be -- or, if you'd like it put more simply -- Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise." -Lewis Carroll: Alice in Wonderland

Redo Project

Self Portrait
I decided for this photo to simply take a picture in the mirror to show what people usually see of me; me with my face behind a camera. I've had friends tell me that it is like a physical part of me.

Portrait of a Stranger

This is a picture of a vendor at a bakery in the strip district. The man behind the counter seemed pretty content and proud of what he does which I thought made him a perfect candidate for a portrait.

Portrait of a Friend
This is a picture of a teammate, Abigail. I thought it captured her very well because she has these beautiful blue eyes and the closeness of this picture shows her freckles in full detail (she says she's a cheetah). Also her expression is kind of comical which sums up her personality very well.
